Well…2026 has started off with a bang and as of today, April 3rd, I am working on 3 film shorts. One that I am writing and two that I will be acting in in June. I’ve also signed on to play Leonardo da Vinci for CENTRAL WORKS production of Gary Graves epic plays: THE PRINCE Part 1 & 2. Gary and I most recently collaborated on the critically acclaimed, BOSS MCGREEDY in Central Works 2024 Season. I’m really excited about pairing with him again and an amazing cast of actors that I really admire. So, take a look at the website and get your tickets. In other news, I’m planning a trip abroad sometime this year. Probably greater Europe, visiting friends and places that I haven’t been before as well. I love the travel magic that happens. It’s universal, I believe, that as you are in a state of curiosity and openness, that you have a superpower to find people who will be a part of changing your perspective and even your life. I have always found travel to bring this magic and I’ve rarely been disappointed. I’m grateful for these revelations and credit my dear late wife and former life travels partner Wendy M Wisely with helping me find this part of myself. I hope that all of you reading this find this out as well.

I’m hoping to get the script for the film that I’m writing done and begin the process of putting a team together to shoot it this year. I had hoped to get it filmed in the spring. As the film is about a Persain boy who finds himself alone in America in these turbulent political times, the daily news awash with the tragedy of this unjust war has me thinking of how to incorporate the complicated landscape that is playing out. Also, as a footnote to this…my first blog item on this platform, I will share with you that writing a short film is very challenging. The format asks a brevity from the writer that seems almost impossible. More on this as it progresses.
